Spectacular Stonefly #gowildkcc
These are baby stoneflies that we found in the river. If you find these it means the river is healthy. The adults have wings and fly above the water. The babies swim in the water.

I used 2 tarps as my roof, floor & walls, I tied the tarps to a tree in my garden and a mighty rimu tree (My washing line!) this made it water proof. I made it warm by putting blankets & cushions in.

I used a tarp to keep me dry and I used cardboard boxes to store stuff. I kept warm in my sleeping bag and blanket. It was tremendously good fun!

Flightless Flier
I made a paper plane and I stuck some flightless birds like a kiwi, weka, kakapo, penguins and takehe on it. I wanted the flightless birds to see what it was like to fly!
