I lashed the wood together with yarn (which I learnt at cubs) Then I decorated with buttons using a small amount of glue, and filled it with sugared water. Now my button bird cafe is officially, OPEN!

We went up the maunga and found some kawakawa leaves. We put them in my Dad's teapot, and then poured the tea into tiny teacups. It doesn't taste nice though.

I found a good tree. I pegged sheets and two tarpaulins to the tree and a chair. I stuffed in some pillows, a beanbag and made a drink shelf. It rained, and my bivvy survived!

Wow! I found a moa chick hatching!
I made a tiny moa from plasticine. I made the brown with orange and a tinge of black. I put it in a plant pot to look like a big tree. I put another photo of me looking surprised next to my moa.
